Environmental Management System

The Environmental Management System (SGMA) is the part of the Integrated Management System that includes the organizational structure of the company, activity planning, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources; to ensure the protection of the environment and minimise the environmental affection of our company in the island and global environment.

The Environmental Management System is applied to all activities developed, the products manufactured and the services offered by Artes Gráficas del Atlántico, S.A. for compliance with the environmental and corporate objectives.

For the configuration of the Environmental Management System, the following standards have been considered:

· Regulation CE 1221/09 by which the companies adhere to a Community System of eco-management and eco-auditing.

· UNE-EN ISO 14001: Environmental Management System. Specifications and guidelines for use.

The Environmental Management System developed in Artes Gráficas del Atlántico, S.A. is orientated towards compliance with all applicable environmental requirements, which gives the Management team of the company trust in the efficiency of the System, permits progressive reduction of significant environmental impacts, and compliance with the environmental quality requirements demanded.

The evaluation criteria of the environmental aspects are available on request from the Manager of the Environmental Management System.
